Our growing steel processing service center client is adding to its outside sales staff. Our client is a raw materials wholesaler selling directly to manufacturers that make millions of household products, such as components, tools, equipment, engines, bikes, boats and autos. Position is full-time with excellent compensation, commissions, car allowance, cell phone, bonus potential and benefits. Midwest regional territory. No relocation budget available.
3 or more years of outside industrial sales experience
3 or more years of steel industry experience, selling directly to OEM manufacturers
Account Management, lead nurturing and relationship-building strengths
Strong closing skills
Discipline, persistence, drive to succeed
Ability to communicate with decision-makers of all levels
Ability to adjust conversation to the selling situation or customer service issue
Deep steel knowledge and strong math skills are required
Proficient PC skills are required: MS Office Suites, CRM, Outlook and e-mail.
