  • Market and sell assigned building and property maintenance services to existing B2B customers and prospects. Develop and nurture prospects and clients by placing outbound calls via telephone and in-person, walk-in visits to local businesses. 
  • Identify customer opportunities and provide product information and recommendations. 
  • Generate revenue through sales of existing and new customers.
  • Meet or exceed sales and activities for new sales and retention goals.
  • Create, deliver and follow-up on proposals and quotes.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by overcoming objections, resolving problems and service issues in a timely manner and maintaining positive communications with customers.
  • Follow-up, cross-sell, up-sell and close opportunities.
  • Maintain and add to the company’s database of customer contacts.
  • Communicate with Sales Manager to enlist help in resolving unique customer issues.
  • Acquire a basic knowledge of industry, potential customers and competition.

Job Requirements

  • 6 months+ of outside B2B sales experience, selling to businesses

OR

  • The desire to grow a career in outside sales
  • The ability to set and achieve goals as demonstrated through academic or athletic or work achievements.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and wants to make product recommendations. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Account management and lead nurturing capabilities.
  • Results-oriented focus, persistent, goal and achievement-oriented.
  • College courses or an Associate’s Degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and internet.
