  • In this role, you will have oversight of the plant’ s existing maintenance program and equipment. The successful candidate will collaborate with management and operations to make sure that the plant operates safely, at peak conditions, all the time. It is a great time to join this solid team!

Responsibilities:
  • Oversees the plant's overall preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Keeps records of equipment failures and provides needed information and data to management
  • Keeps the maintenance manual up to date and in compliance with local, state and federal government.
  • Schedules preventative maintenance and routine maintenance in conjunction with management
  • Provides technical assistance and troubleshooting for plant equipment
  • Maintains morale and motivates maintenance team

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree is desirable.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in supervising a steel coil processing, packaging and coil handling equipment in a manufacturing plant operation setting is required.
  • Engineering knowledge is a strong plus. Formal engineering education is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of steel slitting manufacturing equipment and systems is essential.
