Human Resources Consultant for Interim, Short-term Project with potential to convert to perm.
Our client is a young, entrepreneurial company with about 100 employees in 3 states. Young, high growth start-up company with little to no HR structure. Our client has asked IMC Solutions to bring in an experienced HR Consultant to analyze their needs, develop a project scope and plan and then implement the plan. This will be done on a short-term, project basis. How long – we don’t know until our chosen consultant performs an assessment.
A quick overview of the assignment involves building upon the existing, rudimentary HR function, further developing the infrastructure, setting up their HR Department, roles, processes and reporting structures and getting the client functional and in compliance.
As a consultant, we are looking for an experienced HR Manager or Director who has a combination of large and small company experience, particularly in small entrepreneurial or start-up environments. The goal is to build the appropriate degree of HR structure for the current need without overkill and allow for flexibility as they continue to grow.
This is slated as a short-term project, duration to be determined. However, our client recognizes that it may be beneficial to ultimately convert the consulting role into a fulltime position. This is truly a ground floor opportunity.
