Our growing client in Aurora/Naperville needs a Benefits Coordinator. Temp and possibly temp to perm. Beautiful office environment, great location. Reports to the Director of HR. You will provide best in class benefit support at the Corporate Office to management and employees. We’ re looking for a team player with strong administrative, organizational and communications skills.
Day-to-day processing of benefit enrollments, changes, terminations and payments in a timely manner. Involvement with other departments, administrators and carriers as needed.
Maintain current and accurate information in benefit databases and vendor system on a daily basis.
Reconciles the monthly health, dental, vision, and life insurance invoices.
Assisting with on-boarding new hires
Provide support in the delivery of benefits programs and reports.
Benefit Plan onboarding procedures for new hires to assist in the selection of all benefit programs.
Respond to claim eligibility inquires relating to Medical/Dental/Vision Plans.
Manage Cobra eligibility.
Evaluate existing benefit programs and propose changes, refinements, improvements or additions.
Annual Open Enrollment and new benefit activities to include education and presentations for employees at the Corporate Office and other office locations.
Assist in the filing of Form 5500’ s for all employee health, welfare and retirement plans.
Other tasks as assigned or initiated.
Minimum of 3 years benefits experience
Analytical skills and strong mathematical aptitude
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills
Open Enrollment and new benefit introductions
College courses in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance and Accounting
